MOBILE APP
A mobile app concept offering peace of mind for busy families. It's designed to replace the need for constant texting and calling to make sure family members have arrived safely to different locations as they navigate their hectic schedules.
MAP
Each member has location pin on the map, and safe zones send notifications when family members enter or leave.
TIMELINE
Timelines display a person's current and past locations. Entries are based on members entering or leaving safe zones and manual check-ins.
SOS ALERT
When activated in an emergency, the SOS alert feature sends out the user's current location, date, and time as a text message to family members.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
I used competitor apps on both Android and iOS devices, comparing how they performed similar tasks and analyzing what differentiated them. Surveys were sent out to families to learn about their daily routines, and focus groups offered a more personal view of family lives and feelings about location tracking.
